As important as planning for your wedding day is, planning and preparing for your marriage is even more important. If you are engaged to be married, there are some things you need to know that will help start your marriage on the right foot.
Randy Roper, preaching minister at Edmond, is facilitating a live online premarital education class on Wednesday evenings in October (7th, 14th, 21st, 28th) for engaged couples. Topics discussed include communication, conflict management, finances, expectations, intimacy, and much more. The class is offered as a free resource for engaged couples.
Couples who attend the class are also encouraged to make the investment in the optional resource, Prepare-Enrich ($35). Couples who choose to take advantage of this helpful resource will complete an online survey then get a detailed report about their relationship. Randy will meet with each couple away from class (virtually or in person) to walk through your specific report, addressing some of the important areas of agreement and disagreement in your relationship.
Click here for more information on Prepare-Enrich. While you are welcome to attend the class without doing Prepare-Enrich, it is highly recommended. Also, if you participate in all four classes and do Prepare-Enrich, you will qualify for a $45 discount on your Oklahoma marriage license (other states may have premarital discounts; you should check).
