Glad you are here and want to find out more about us. The Edmond Church of Christ is an active community of faith in Edmond, OK, made up of Christians who care for each other and want to serve God. Every Sunday, hundreds of men, women and children from various backgrounds come together to worship God, declare faith in His son, Jesus, and explore the Bible.
Our faith is not just practiced on Sundays. It is the foundation for every relationship and all the events of everyday life. We believe our faith should make a profound impact on our lives, including our relationships, jobs, resources, and decisions. We view the Bible as the inspired Word of God, and we strive to follow the teachings and principles of the New Testament. As a community of faith, we take our purpose of "Making Disciples" from Jesus' commission in Matthew 28.

GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way. GriefShare starts Sunday evening, Jan. 12, 6:00-7:30pm in Fellowship 1 facilitated by caring leaders Marty & Kelly Lewis and Allen & Jeanette Wiederstein. The group is free and childcare is provided. your financial freedom begins jan. 12
Are you ready to get a better handle on your financial situation? Do you have a plan for managing your money and being a good steward of what God has given you? Join hundreds of others from this church over the years who have attended Financial Peace University and learn practical ways to get control of your finances. FPU starts Sunday, Jan. 12, at 6:00pm in Room 208. This 9-week course teaches practical and biblical ways to handle money. Class memberships start at $99, and registration is required. 2025 bible reading plan to add spiritual practices
Our personal Bible reading plan for 2025 provides flexibility while also challenging us to incorporate specific spiritual practices into our regular rhythms and routines of life. Instead of set readings each day, there are specific books of the Bible to read each month plus a few Proverbs and Psalms to read each week. Read at your own pace. Along with the readings, there are some specific spiritual practices recommended during each quarter of the year. As you draw near to God this year, open your eyes and heart to see the great things He will do.

leadership training for christ 2025 begins now
LTC had its kick-off meeting on Dec. 4. Pre-convention events are due Dec. 9. All children, youth, and adult registration to be involved in LTC ends Jan. 5, so sign-up now. Practices begin Jan. 12. The LTC convention in Norman, OK, is Easter weekend, April 18-19, 2025. LTC is a long-standing program that provides opportunities for children and youth to learn, develop service and leadership, and demonstrate their giftedness at an annual gathering of hundreds of people. Adult coaches and sponsors are a vital part of our LTC program and are always needed. For more information, contact Brenda, Hannah, John, Sam or Bonnie Howard.

6-week marriage class to help grow your love
We are replacing the Dynamic Marriage course with a shorter, more dynamic and more affordable class called "Growing Love." In this 6-week group meeting, couples will grow closer to God and to their spouses whether currently hurting or thriving. If you are married, this class is for you and will be a blessing! Discover how to fall more deeply in love, find true intimacy, heal from past hurts, regain trust, communicate lovingly & effectively, and build a mutually fulfilling life together. Cost is only $30 per couple, and registration is required. Class starts January 12 at 6:00pm in Room 210. Contact Jeremy for more information. Update: Thanks for your interest.
